KING'S ACADEMY IN MID-SOUTH LEAD, TITLE ON THE HORIZON
October 26- After big wins at Lancaster Christian Academy (40-24) and Pickett County (55-0), King's Academy finds themselves in the Mid-South lead and the conference title within their grasp. With a win over Scottsboro Christian on Friday night and a St. Andrew's-Sewanee loss, the Lions will claim the inaugural MSFC conference championship. SAS currently sits in second place in the league and controls their own destiny. Wins over Riverside Christian and KA in the last two weeks of the season will give Sewanee the title. A surprising win over LCA last Saturday kept the Mountain Lion hopes alive. LCA, playing without eight key contributors, will travel to PCHS to end their season this weekend. Among the injured our starting tailback Cody Guynn, quarterback Gabe Brewer, and linemen Anthony Turner and Josh Prewitt. The Knights defeated PCHS 33-6 earlier this season.
