"All of our hard work over the summer truly paid off," stated head coach Natychia Young. The Lady Knights came off an intense summer schedule and opened the season on a seven-game winning streak, never looking back. LCA returns 4 starters next fall and will add several talented transfers to an already strong roster. Sophomore Jennifer Donahue and juniors Amanda Braunwalder, Lauren Ritchie and Jessica Crone will all return to the starting lineup. Eighth graders Meghan Nall and Brianna Bromley also saw significant playing time and should bolster the roster. With a year of experience and a summer of camps and clinics ahead, the Lady Knights promise to be strong title contenders in the TVAC in 2007. |
